Mobile Admin App
My role was as lead Senior UX Designer, working closely with our mobile development team, the product owner, project manager, QA testing team and back-end engineers to audit a partially completed mobile application, understand the future-state that we wanted to accomplish and help bridge the gap.
The Ask
Create documentation for the current state of the mobile application, then map out the flow for the future-state and create wireframes to capture the desired experience of the completed mobile admin application for our client Atlas / DeCurtis.
The GOAL
Have a well thought out application to present to the client, as well as accurate documentation detailing out the specifics of the expected experience.
Whiteboard to Wireframes
On this project for the Atlas / DeCurtis mobile admin app, I started with conversations with people who were familiar with the app to capture what the team thought it did, and what they wanted it to do. From the initial whiteboard sketches, I tested the existing application to see what matched and then proceeded to detail out the current flow. Once everyone was on the same page, I moved on to designing the future-state of the app.
THE PLAN
Work closely with the team to make sure all questions have answers and all documents are thoroughly vetted.
