My role was as the UX Designer, working closely with the the engineering team, art team, production, design director and game designer to create an in game store experience.
The Ask
Research other in game stores and do a competitive analysis to see what key features make for a good experience and use the takeaways to inform design decisions made while proposing our own store solution.
The Goal
Create a store that can support few items and expand to support many items, while giving users an intuitive feature to browse and buy cosmetic items with points earned in game.
The Plan
Look at other games and document the research, then use the analysis and learned insights to inform designs.
